Skywork released Matrix-Game 4.0 on October 15, followed by further GPU optimizations on October 16. It pairs executable game logic with a causal video model that turns low-poly RGB frames into detailed visuals.
The release includes Medieval Castle, Ancient Egypt and City Racing, together with inference code, assets and a browser demo. Optimized paths cover supported RTX 50-series cards as well as the documented server configuration.
Reported throughput excludes some end-to-end costs: for example, the cited RTX 5080 result uses fixed prompts and SageAttention at 864 by 480, excluding video I/O. The engine still determines physics and input; the model does not invent all game rules.
