Tencent opens Hy-Memory 2.0 with model, framework and MemHub app

The October 16 release covers chat, working and coding memory, with a local-first app that shares authorized context across AI tools.

Tencent Hunyuan’s October 16 announcement presents Hy-Memory 2.0 as three components: the Hy-Memory-30B-A3B memory model, a memory engine and the MemHub application. The layers can be used independently or together.

The framework handles conversation history, task progress and coding decisions. MemHub provides a local-first way to organize authorized histories from tools such as Claude Code, Codex and Cursor, enabling context recall across applications.

This is an agent-memory stack, not a replacement general-purpose chat model. Benchmark leadership is reported by Tencent under its evaluation conditions; connecting applications still requires the user’s authorization.
