OpenAI published mathematical results from an internal frontier model on October 6. Its GitHub release includes papers, revision and citation procedures, and Lean formalizations for many proofs so they can be checked by computer.
The company also shared reasoning summaries, compute estimates and attempted-problem statistics, and said further formalizations would follow.
