Google announced on October 20 that Personal Intelligence is beginning to roll out on Android Auto, with support for cars with Google built-in planned in the coming months.
With permission, Gemini can use connected Google apps to retrieve travel details and give personalized help. Access is for eligible personal Google accounts aged 18 or older, excluding the EEA, Switzerland, the UK and Nigeria; Workspace business, enterprise and education accounts are excluded. Connections are opt-in and can be disabled. In cars with Google built-in, personal responses require the user to be in the car with their phone connected. The announcement does not mean this personalization is already available in every car.
